Congratulations to my sister, whom I've never met. She nailed the contest on both counts. And I love it that she made a trip to TJs to see the divine bag in person.
Of course I didn't buy it. But I did go up and ask the sales clerk if she was sure there wasn't some mistake. After all, it was TJ Maxx. I also put it on hold for all of one hour so I could somehow almost possess it...even for a short time.
And I'll always have pictures.

i don't know if i could spend so much money on one item, let alone an accessory. I'm also more of a shoe girl instead of a purse girl.
Isn't that interesting Becky? I was just thinking how I couldn't be less interested in shoes, but I am way swayed--but not that swayed--by the siren song of a great bag.
Not to mention that half the thrill of a good purchase is the idea that it's a steal. Now if I could've bought a $275 bag for $39.95 I would've been all over it.
I might have even bought two! (You know, one for my 72-hour-emergency preparedness kit.)
Thank you (bow), thank you (bow), thank you very much.
I love TJMaxx. I bought my little girl (almost 3) 3 cutie-patutie dresses there the other day. One Tommy Hilfiger (the fabric feels divine) sundress for $14.99 instead of $49.99. Steal.
If I were rich, I would buy you the bag. Alas, I am not rich.
One time I was camping with my brother and we stopped at a store in Jackson Hole. We were checking out the price tags....wooowoo, cha-ching! I could not believe the price tags. The cheapest thing in the store was like $50.00...average price tag...$250.00. We left empty handed.
Next time I go to Mexico I will pick one up for you. $20 for three--all genuine. I will also grab you a RoLLLex. Also genuine.
That bag is snazzy!
Oh yes, please do. RoLLLexes are my favorite. Especially the genuine ones.
Hit Kohl's in AF. The clearance red tags (which are actually a glowy orange) are 75% off making the items 90% off or MORE and 50% off lowest price on the yellow tags. I bought my hubby some $120 cashmere sweaters today for $7.50 and $54 shirts for $2.50.
I'd like to bear my testimony of the truthfulness of Kohl's sales.
Oh, and I got purses for less than 2 bucks. Alas, there were no Italian imported leather but less than 2 bucks.
