...in the shower. I can be brilliant in the shower. But just like those who sing fabulously in the shower but couldn't carry a tune in a bucket dry, my wit and wisdom loses something in translation once I'm on dry land.
In my truck when I'm alone and it's quiet. I can only do my best thinking when it's absolutely silent, though, because I'm easily distracted. Given that I have 6 kids and a dog, that equates to about 10 minutes of think time a day. Yeah, I'll never make the big list of 'Thinking Thinkers.'
You know, a toliet is meant for one thing and one thing only! Sick! I once had someone call me from the bathroom! It was just so disgusting! What, like I wasn't going to notice the echo or the sounds! Gross!
Cari...haha! I have a friend who always calls me from the toilet. So naturally I try to play even. But being that she'd peed in front of me before, I can't really complain if she's peeing on the phone with me.
I think my sheer geniusosity usually comes to me while lying in bed as well...the shower is also a great place.
I do my best thinking at night when the house is dark and quiet. I can't tell you how many times I have left the marital bed to sneak downstairs to write a post.
Lately in my "studio" sitting at my art table looking out the window at 2 of the 6 beautiful blooming cherry trees planted between my east neighbors home and ours.

Sad, really.
Okay, I do my best thinking in the shower. But not with a computer. What in the heck?
Ewww.
I think best in my bed late at night, but if I don't write them down, the thoughts evaporate by morning!
I still have not found a place.
Explains a lot, doesn't it?
...hehehe b's comment. this is why my daughter say's "oh crap" all the time now... I have to watch what I say.
Best thinking... whenever I don't have a moment to write it down... I spend half my time trying to remember what I was thinking ...

I think it's great that Google isn't afraid to have some fun.
Thinking...who has time to think anymore. It's all by the seat of my pants and last minute inspiration on the fly.

As if I wasn't already paranoid enough about using the bathroom in the middle of the night...
While driving, not on the throne!
Sitting in my bed at 3 a.m. with heartburn. Try it, it works.
Sitting in the swing on my deck while watching the humming birds. I hope they come back soon I'm all out of good ideas.

I love it that Annie leaves the marital bed to sneak down and write us a post now and then!!!

Hmmmm. Finding a snake at work. Could be fun! (Not for the housekeeping staff, though.)
Thanks again for the honorary post.
